And so much brown paper! Spices I understand, and most of the dyews and so on, but brown paper? Lince? Estridge wool?

Well, I *would* know what ferret silk was, wouldn't I? :)

It is silk used for points. I don't know that the dictionary has caught up yet, but the "ferret" is likely the metal tip on the points and more likely derived from ferrous than the animal.
