The Gifts of Imperfection

The best book I read this year was Brene Brown's The Gifts of Imperfection.
If you struggle with being vulnerable, fear, guilt or shame, here's her TED talk about her journey as a researcher, and about her search for how to live a wholehearted life. http://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_on_vulnerability.html

When I first saw her TED talk I was so amazed. She tackles the issue of shame and vulnerability exquisitely. Her book gives me so much to think about that I can only read a few pages at a time. She has helped me to be more compassionate towards myself and therefore more compassionate to others. It reminds me that we are all here just trying our best to survive.

Thanks for posting. I'm sure there will be others that will appreciate her message.

and...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ;-)
